AmiranPapinashvili – Taking Start with Bronze

First day of the World Judo Championship in Chelyabinsk started with one weight category -males-60 kg and females-48 kg. Georgian national team had only one representative in 60 kg, AmiranPapinashvili ranked second in the world ranking list who acquired bronze after conducting tough five fights. 2013 European champion from Georgia lost the chance of obtaining gold and silver medals in the semifinals and earned bronze.

Before his fight with Mongol judoka Georgian athlete defeated his three opponents. During repeachagePapinashvili competed with ArtiomArshanski from Israel being rather active from the first seconds, however on the third minute of fight he failed to continue the trick and his opponent overtook him with yuko scores. Nevertheless, Georgian judoka maintained priority at the expense of his opponents several warnings acquiring first medal at the world individual championship. The second bronze went to the Japanese NaohishaTakato.
