Tbilisi will host the European continent's most wide scale event during 26 July-1 August. Preparation for the European Youth Olympic Festival gets into final phase. On April 2, the Chair of Tbilisi 2015 Organizng Committee Aleksi Akhvlediani and Georgian Airways General Director Iase Zautashvili signed the Memorandum of Understanding.

Subject to the MoU Georgian Airways became official carrier during all events connected with the EYOF. The planes will be accordingly decorated with Tbilisi 2015 logo in Olympic colors. ‘Today the leading air company within the Georgian market became official partner of the Festival. Special charter flight accomplished by Georgian Airways will bring to the capital Olympic flame from Greece. Furthermore, during the EYOF Tbilisi 2015 Georgian Airways will assign special airfares for the athletes and officials'- says Chair of the EYOF Tbilisi 2015 Aleksi Akhvlediani.

Georgian delegation will travel to Greece on 25th May for the official lightning ceremony of the Olympic Flame organized in Athens and the flame will enter capital from the city of Batumi on 26th May on the Independence Day of Georgia.
