Young Georgian athlete Lasha Peradze acquired 11th place at the ongoing 2nd Youth Olympic Games in Lillehammer, Norway during recent luge competition.

Total 22 lugers were competing in pursuit of medals. In the Run 1 Peradze showed 48.721 sec. (10th place), while during the Run 2 he completed the race in 48.786 sec. (13th place), thus collecting in total 1:37.507 min. outscoring several strong opponents including contenders from the USA, Ukraine and Czech republic.

Lasha Peradze was born in Bakuriani settlement on April 23, 2000 starting practicing in luge at 9 years. The athlete has successfully completed with his stable competition the world Cup Stages obtaining as a result qualification for the Winter Youth Olympic Games.
