On 12-17 February the city of Erzurum, Turkey will host winter edition of the XIII European Youth Olympic Festival. 6 athletes from Georgia including alpine skiers: Ekaterine Gotsiridze, Tamar Barbariani, Lasha Kurtanidze and Giorgi Kurtanidze, figure skater- Nika Egadze, and snowboarder Bakar Mushkudiani will participate in the event under leadership of the Chef de Mission Giorgi Esakia, Sports Director of the Georgian NOC.

In the history of winter EYOFs Georgia has the only medal acquired in Sundsvall, Sweden (1997) by Vakhtang Murvanidze, figure skater where the athlete won silver medal.
Olympic delegating of Georgia will leave for Erzurum on 11th February.
