Successful debut and qualification for the Olympics

22 year-old Georgian athlete Moris Kvitelashvili revealed successful results at the World Figure Skating Championships  in Helsinki ranking 19th after the short program and acquiring 11th place in free skating collecting total 239,24 points. Finally, the young figure skater ranked 13th and consequently he became the first Georgian athlete who qualified for 2018 winter Olympic Games. 

Moris Kvitelashvili  was born in Moscow and he has competed under Georgian colors since 2016. During 2017 European Championships Moris ranked 6th while at the recent World Championships  he showed himself among the best world figure skaters deservedly competing at his debut competition.
