Georgian national team of chess player women have successfully competed at the World Team Championships acquiring champion's title. In the final round the team defeated host China team with 2,2:1,5 thus becoming unbeaten for the opponents. Georgian chess players completed total 9 rounds finishing the match with Russian players with a tie (2:2) winning later 8 rounds in succession. As a result the team finally acquired the first place.
