On 13 May 2015, Press Conference organized at the Georgian NOC headquarters was dedicated to the EYOF Opening Ceremony. Chair of the EYOF Tbilisi 2015 OC Aleksi Akhvlediani officially announced the group for organizing Opening and Closing ceremonies of this important event. Subject to the decision of the Government of Georgia and EYOF Tbilisi 2015 OC festive Opening and Closing ceremonies will be organized by the Georgian Chamber of Culture under leadership of its President David Okitashvili.

Furthermore, presentation of the torch specially prepared for the Festival took place at the Tbilisi international airport. The Flame will visit total 67 cities and district centers countrywide returning back to the capital on 14th July with only several days before the Opening Ceremony.
