Georgian Boxers Are Doing Well in Baku

Till now Georgian boxers are doing well at the World Championship in Baku, where apart from prizes, licenses for the London Olympics are to be gained. 700 athletes from 127 countries are gathered for the World Championship in Baku. Georgian boxers are competing in 10 different weight categories.
As of today, tournaments in 8 weight categories have taken place and in 7 categories Georgian athletes achieved victories. All but one disciples of Coach Ramaz Paliani - Avtandil Chubabria (49kg), Severian Chiladze (52kg), Davit Gogishvili (91kg), Levan Guledani (81kg), Zaal Kvachatadze (69kg), Mikheil Bakhtidze (+91kg) and Koba Pkhakadze (64kg) - beat their opponents and moved to the second stage of the competition.
Tomorrow Nikoloz Izoria and Jaba Khositashvili will go to the ring where they will face Hungarian and Thai boxers respectively.
