Sport Administrators Courses

06 April 2026

From 2 to 5 April 2026, the Sport Administrators Courses were successfully organized by the Georgian National Olympic Committee (NOC) under the auspices of IOC Olympic Solidarity.

Interest in these courses continues to grow each year, providing an excellent opportunity for managers, coaches, National Sport Federation (NSF) officials, and administrators from various sport organizations to enhance their knowledge and develop their professional skills. The program focuses on key aspects of the Olympic Movement and modern sport management, contributing to the overall development of the sports sector.

This year, the courses brought together more than 50 participants representing both the capital and regional sport organizations. The group included athletes, students from sport universities, members of the sport media, and specialists from the Ministry of Sport. Notably, the gender balance among participants reached 43%, reflecting a strong commitment to inclusivity and equal opportunities.

A team of experienced experts from the NOC, along with invited guest speakers, delivered engaging and informative sessions. The curriculum covered a wide range of important topics, including the Olympic Movement, sport management, gender equality, marketing, the Olympic Games, sustainability, and other relevant contemporary issues in sport.

All participants were provided with comprehensive learning materials, including the Sport Administration Manual in both its original and translated versions, ensuring continued access to valuable resources beyond the course duration.

At the conclusion of the program, participants were awarded IOC certificates in recognition of their successful completion of the course. In addition, they received commemorative NOC-branded souvenirs as a token of participation.
