Third-prize winner of the XV and XVI Olympic Games (1952, Helsinki – 200m  run in 24.2, 1956, Melbourne – long jump 6,07 m). Four-fold USSR Champion (1951, 1953 – 100 m and 200 m run), three-fold second- (1949 – 200m run; 1951, 1953 – long jump) and third-prize (1956 – long jump) winner, Champion of International Youth Friendly Games  (1953 – 4x200 relay) and a three-fold second-prize winner (1953 – 100m and 200m run; 1957 – long jump), Third-prize winner of the World University Games (1951 – long jump), three-fold world record holder (1953 – 4x200 relay, twice, 4x100 relay; 1954 – long jump), Repeated the record of Francina  Blankers Koen– 6,25m.Honored Master of Sports of the USSR. Holder of the Order of Honor and the VakhtangGorgasali II class Order.
