Used to play for Shukura from Kobuleti (1973), Dinamo from Batumi (1974-1975, 1983-1985), Dinamo from Tbilisi (1976-1982, 1985-1987), Guria from Lanchkhuti (1982). Played 7 matches for the USSR team (scored 3 goals). Third-prize winner of the Olympic Games (1980).   Played 158 matches in the top league of the USSR (scored 52 goals). Champion of the USSR (1978), second (1977) and third-prize (Spring 1976, Fall 1976) winner of the USSR Championships. Winner and the finalist of the USSR Cup (1976, 1979). President of the Kobuleti“Shukura” (1990-1996) and Rustavi “Metalurg” (1996-1997).
