Second (1977) and third-prize (Spring 1976, Fall 1976, 1981) winner of the USSR Championships. Winner of the USSR Cup (1976, 1979) and the finalist (1980). The USSR best football player of the year (1980). Eighth in the survey of France-football (1981). Winner of the UEFA Cup Winners Cup (1981). Chief Coach of the national team of Georgia (1993-1996, 2001-2003). Honored Master of Sports of the USSR. Recipient  of the Order of Honor.
